Laura earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Tyler School of Art
in Philadelphia after spending two years in Europe.
In 2009, she was honored to attend an Arts Reception at
President and Dr. Biden's Vice Presidential residence in Washington, D.C.,
where one of her paintings was on loan to the family. Two of her works are permanent pieces in their Delaware beach home.

Laura enjoys painting with a variety of media on many surfaces
from pastels on paper, to oil and acrylic on canvas or board.
Her recent work includes paintings on furniture and objects. With a story or theme in mind, she is inspired by each existing piece and intrigued by what its history might have been; giving something that may have been discarded a new purpose.
