"The challenge as a painter interpreting nature is to convey one’s innermost respect for it.
I reflect on nature each time I conceive and then complete a work and I am always in awe with what nature has given me to work with. The changing seasons with colors
both gentle and vibrant have always been an inspiration for me.
I use solid oil pigment on both canvas and board and find that this medium provides me with an immediate and free response to the subject."
