Carol Gray
Carol's formal art education began at the Brooklyn Art Museum in New York, and was followed by studies at Skidmore College and the University of Delaware, where she received her M.F.A. After teaching landscape painting and drawing for years, she now concentrates on painting in her garden and on the Eastern Seaboard.
"As a plein air oil painter, I work on location in the landscape. This way of painting enables me to capture the color of nature's forms which I brush onto the rich texture of linen... Whether walking down a garden path or sitting at the water's edge, I emphasize the wondrous qualities of the scene before me."
