Judy Weinstein
Judy began creating art 40 years ago. Living on a farm, her first artistic expression involved the wool from sheep. With color and texture as inspiration she created a ‘sheep to shawl business’, carding the fleece, spinning it into yarn, dyeing it into skeins, and finally weaving or knitting the wool into garments and blankets.
In later years she began to explore painting with pastels, oils and gouache, again using bold colors and texture. Her landscape paintings represent aspects of her daily life… barns, farmhouses, flowers and gardens, laundry drying and country roads.
